What is Free Multi-Timer for Cooking ⏱️?

The HIF Logic Free Multi-Timer for Cooking lets you run up to six named countdown timers simultaneously, directly in your browser. Unlike a single phone timer, this tool lets you track every element of a meal at once — pasta, sauce, roasting vegetables, and a simmering protein can all count down independently, each with its own label and visual ring. Each timer features: - A circular countdown ring that transitions from teal (full) to amber (under 25%) to red (under 10%) as time runs out - A precise digital display in MM:SS format (HH:MM:SS for timers over an hour) - Individual Start / Pause / Resume / Reset controls so you can freeze any timer without affecting others - A soft four-note ascending chime (C–E–G–C) generated via the Web Audio API when each timer completes Quick Presets cover the most common cooking durations — pasta (8 min), rice (18 min), soft and hard boiled eggs (6 min, 12 min), chicken breast (25 min), steak medium-rare (4 min), sauce simmer (20 min), and roasted vegetables (30 min). Click a preset to pre-fill the label and duration, then add it in one click. All processing runs locally in your browser. No data is sent to any server. The tool works offline once the page is loaded.

How to Use This Tool

  1. 1

Use a Quick Preset to instantly fill in common cooking times (e.g. "Pasta · 8m"), or type your own label and enter minutes and seconds manually.

  2. 2

Click "Add" (or press Enter) to create the timer card. Add up to 6 timers for a full multi-dish cooking session.

  3. 3

Press "Start" on each timer when you're ready for that item. Timers run independently — pausing one does not affect others.

  4. 4

Watch the circular ring shrink and change color: teal = plenty of time, amber = 25% remaining, red = under 10% remaining.

  5. 5

When a timer hits zero, a soft ascending chime plays and the card turns green. Press Reset to reuse that timer or the trash icon to remove it.

  6. 6

Click "Preview alert chime" at any time to hear what the done sound sounds like and confirm your audio is on.

Real-World Use Cases

Cooking a Full Pasta Dinner Simultaneously

You're making spaghetti bolognese. Add three timers: "Pasta" (8 min), "Garlic Bread" (12 min), and "Sauce — reduce" (20 min). Start the sauce first, add the bread timer when you put it in the oven, and the pasta timer when you drop the noodles. All three count down on screen at once — no mental juggling, no burnt bread.

Holiday Meal Coordination

Thanksgiving or a holiday dinner often means 5–6 dishes finishing at different times. Add timers for the turkey rest time, gravy simmer, rolls, roasted veg, and mashed potato hold. Each has its own label and ring so you can tell at a glance which dishes still have time and which are ready to plate.

Meal Prep with Parallel Cooking

Batch-cooking for the week means running your oven, stovetop, and Instant Pot at the same time. Set a timer for "Chicken thighs" (25 min), "Brown rice" (18 min), and "Hard boiled eggs" (12 min). The visual rings let you triage which item needs attention next without opening multiple phone apps or setting multiple phone alarms.
